Mid-Manhattan NAACP Special Black History Month
Mid-Manhattan NAACP Special Black History Month on February 21, 2018 featured two special guest speakers: the Author and Historian, Mr. Grant Harper Reid, made a special presentation on the history of Harlem’s famous Cotton Club, Connie’s Inn Dancers, and a preview of his latest book Harlem Bible; and Author, Historian and New York Amsterdam News Journalist and NAACP Image Award Finalist, Herb Boyd. His latest book is Black Detroit: A People’s History of Self-Determination.
