Nigerian King Blesses Hospital President
On April 18, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Michael Odunayo Ajayi, of Nigeria visited Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and Children’s Hospital of New Jersey, he met with the hospital’s president and CEO Darrell K. Terry, Sr., MHA, MPH, FACHE and several hospital senior leaders. Upon leaving the hospital, the King pronounced a special royal blessing upon Mr. Terry and hospital. The visit concluded the king’s two week visit to the New York/New Jersey area. The trip was part of the kick-off activities for this year’s African American Heritage Parade and Festival in Newark, New Jersey.
Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is a 665-bed regional care teaching hospital that provides comprehensive health care.
