Heroes Parade at Newark Beth Israel

Newark New Jersey’s top brass came out in full force today to honor the healthcare heroes at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. Approximately 30 Newark Police Officers accompanied Chief of Police Darnell Henry, and 45-50 firefighters accompanied Chief of Fire Rufus Jackson to today’s show of support.  Dozens of employees came out to greet and thank the officers whose cars lined the entire street, including 30 police vehicles and 6 fire trucks from firehouses located in Newark’s South and Central wards.
