Flag Raising at Jersey City Hall
The Jersey City West Indian Caribbean American Carnival Association, Inc. (JCWICACAI) raised the Caricom (Caribbean community) flag at City Hall in Jersey City on July 6, 2022. To celebrate its diversity, the city raises the flag of different constituent communities throughout the year and in July, Jersey City celebrated Caribbean Heritage. Cheryl DB Murphy is Carnival Association president.
