Networking for Better Health
Amerigroup NJ hosted its second Together Towards Tomorrow Community Partner Networking event at the Sheraton Hotel, Eatontown, NJ on Friday December 2, 2022. Over 100 Monmouth, Ocean, and surrounding county community partners from health care, schools, faith-based and community-based organizations, and others serving those with special needs and older adults joined Amerigroup for the event. Keynote speaker, NJ Office of the Food Security Advocate Director Mark Dinglasan, spoke on ways to improve community health, including access to healthier foods. Monmouth County Commissioner Susan Kiley detailed actions taken to improve food security to county residents. Attendees participated in a care bagging station and the collection of 100 Care Bags to be delivered to The Jersey Shore Rescue Mission, Asbury Park NJ.
