Mayor Ted R. Green anMayor Ted R. Green and the East Orange City Council proudly presented Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jahan Dotson with the Key to the City on Monday, March 10, 2025, in recognition of his outstanding achievements as a 2025 Super Bowl champion and community leader.

“I am extremely proud to present this Key to the City to Jahan Dotson, a young man who has impressed us as he has grown and excelled both on and off the field,” said Mayor Green. “This exceptional moment marks just the beginning of what promises to be a phenomenal career, and we are excited to follow his journey.”

Dotson hails from the Dotson and Bigelow families, a large and longtime East Orange lineage with deep roots in athletics and community service. An accomplished wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL)—known for his speed, agility, and exceptional hands—Jahan’s love for football began at the age of five.

With the support of his parents, Robin and Al Dotson, and under the guidance of Coaches Sharonda Bailey, Fritz Dupiche, and Bruce Davis, Jahan joined the East Orange Junior Jaguars, where he began playing flag football.

He later became a standout athlete in both football and track at Nazareth Area High School in Pennsylvania. His high school success earned him a spot at Penn State University, where he amassed over 2,000 receiving yards, scored 25 touchdowns, and earned First-Team All-Big Ten honors.

Selected in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft by the Washington Commanders, Jahan was later traded to the Philadelphia Eagles in 2024. In 2025, he and the Eagles captured victory in Super Bowl LIX.

Off the field, Jahan remains dedicated to giving back to his community and inspiring the next generation of athletes.d the East Orange City Council proudly presented Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jahan Dotson with the Key to the City on Monday, March 10, 2025, in recognition of his outstanding achievements as a 2025 Super Bowl champion and community leader.
