Our Hearts are with Jamaica

Our hearts are with Jamaica, where families and communities continue rebuilding after Hurricane Melissa and with our neighbors in Haiti and Cuba, who are also recovering from devastating impacts across the region. The Positive Community stands in solidarity with our Caribbean family united through community, compassion, and care. We’re sharing trusted organizations and grassroots initiatives working directly on the ground to provide food, shelter, and recovery support across all three islands. Please note: While we do not officially endorse or represent any of the organizations listed below, we believe in the power of community and connection during times of need. Every bit of awareness and compassion makes a difference.

💛 SUPPORT JAMAICA Food for the Poor Jamaica — Providing food, clean water, and hurricane relief supplies for families. ·  WalkGood LA: Jamaica Hurricane Relief Fund — A community-driven effort raising funds to rebuild homes and provide essential resources.  Support Jamaica — An official government initiative coordinating hurricane recovery, rebuilding programs, and local assistance for affected communities.  American Friends of Jamaica (AFJ) — Providing long-term rebuilding and community restoration across the island.

❤️ SUPPORT HAITI Food for the Poor Haiti — Providing critical food, housing, and medical support for families across Haiti, with teams working directly in affected communities to deliver long-term recovery and relief. CORE Response (formerly J/P HRO) — A long-term relief and recovery organization with a strong presence in Haiti, providing disaster response and rebuilding efforts for affected communities. Catholic Relief Services (CRS) — Working alongside Haitian communities to rebuild homes, improve access to clean water, and deliver essential supplies and education in times of crisis.

💙 SUPPORT CUBA CARE — Providing shelter, clean water, and emergency resources to families across Cuba through locally led relief programs. CAMA Services — Responding to Hurricane Melissa with humanitarian aid, food assistance, and recovery support for communities impacted across the Caribbean, including Cuba.
