Starting today, February 8, the application portal for the Emergency Rescue Mortgage Assistance (ERMA) program is now open. If you know a New Jersey homeowner who has fallen behind on their mortgage and/or property taxes in your community, due to a COVID-19 hardship, they may be eligible for up to $35,000 in assistance.
Attached and in the body of this email is an invitation for three dates for next week that we are hosting training sessions for community leaders, like yourself, about the Emergency Rescue Mortgage Assistance program that opened to TODAY to take applications. We invite you to join NJHMFA staff to learn how, as a community leader, you can act as a conduit passing along this information to homeowners in your community that need finical assists, due to a COVID-19 hardship.
