A “Wave of Freedom” in Jersey City
Civil Rights Activist, Humanitarian, Co-Founder and Chair of People’s Organization for Progress Lawrence Hamm was the special guest speaker at the 3rd Annual Frederick Douglass Juneteenth Unity Gala. The gala, hosted by Tyrone Chablis, was in preparation for this year’s Juneteenth parade and extravaganza and sponsored by the Frederick Douglass Juneteenth Celebration Inc. Held on May 7 at the gorgeous Galloping Hill with music provided by DJ Ross, the fun filled event honored veterans.
