Newark, NJ (June 5, 2018) — Darrell K. Terry, Sr., MHA, MPH, FACHE, President and Chief Executive Officer, Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and Children’s Hospital of New Jersey, received the Reverend Ron Christian Award for Community Leadership at Seton Hall University’s 25th annual Evening of Roses Gala honoring Sister Rose Thering’s legacy of fostering understanding and cooperation among Jews, Christians and people of different religious traditions. In 2016, Newark Beth Israel opened the Reverend Dr. Ronald B. Christian Community Health and Wellness Center at 208 Lyons Avenue in honor of the late reverend’s commitment to serving the community.
