Pyetra Camargo

Pyetra, a Newark resident, earned her Associate in Science in Criminal Justice from Essex County College.

Pyetra, who earned a 4.0 grade point average, was Valedictorian for the Class of 2019. While an Essex County College, she was named to the All-USA New Jersey Community College Academic First Team and was one of ECC’s Voices of Opportunity in the New Jersey Council of County College’s 2018 Ambassador Program. 

Pyetra has transferred to Saint Peter’s University, in Jersey City, where she is majoring in Political Science. Future plans are to earn her Master’s in Public Administration and then apply for law school with her career goal of becoming an attorney.
