Still On the Wall

95th Holy Convocation
October 9–12, 2025 | The House of the Lord and Church on the Mount
A powerful testament to unwavering faith, bold leadership, and prophetic legacy unfolded during the 95th Holy Convocation of The House of the Lord and Church on the Mount. National Presiding Minister Bishop Leah D. Daughtry warmly welcomed the congregation and honored guests for four unforgettable days of worship, reflection, and renewal.
A Conversation Across Generations
One of the convocation’s most memorable moments was a fireside chat between Angela Rye, Principal/CEO of IMPACT Strategies, and Rev. Herbert Daughtry, Convenor of State of the People and Presider Emeritus of The House of the Lord.
The beloved nonagenarian reflected on his journey through humble beginnings, tests, trials, and triumphs. As a living embodiment of the convocation theme, Still On the Wall, Rev. Daughtry demonstrated what it means to remain steadfast, focused, and faithful to the work God entrusts to His people.
Seeing Beyond the Wall
On Friday, Bishop Corletta J. Vaughn—Pastor of Holy Ghost Cathedral Church of Detroit and Founder of Go Tell It Ministry Worldwide Network of Churches—ignited the attendees with a powerful word. She reminded the congregation that prophetic people are called not only to stand on the wall, but to see beyond it.
Her message emphasized inclusivity, spiritual vision, and openness to realms beyond physical limitations. This dual meaning—on the wall and beyond the wall—served as both a cautionary reminder and a broader spiritual aspiration for all believers.
A Saturday Filled with Purpose
Saturday began with the Bishop’s Brunch at El Caribe on October 11th, setting the tone for a day rich with purpose and praise.
That evening, during a sacred recommitment of the church’s leadership:
- Rev. Al Sharpton delivered a powerful and timely message
- Two new servants were welcomed into the clergy ranks
- Rev. Eyesha K. Marable offered a moving expression of worship through liturgical dance
A Milestone Closing Word
On Sunday, Bishop Leah D. Daughtry marked five years as National Presiding Prelate of The House of the Lord Churches. She closed the convocation with a stirring word that reignited the charge to stay on the wall and do the work.
Worship, Word, and Excellence
From the dynamic emceeing of Rev. Shavon Arline-Bradley to the message from Rev. Dr. Jamal Bryant, the anointed worship led by psalmist Anaysha Figueroa-Cooper, and the spirit-filled sounds of violinist Priya DeBerry, every moment of the convocation reflected excellence and divine purpose.
The 95th Holy Convocation was a resounding success—an experience that strengthened faith, affirmed leadership, and reminded all in attendance of the sacred call to remain Still On the Wall.
