Faith Over Fear: Spirit Led Leadership Through the Unknown | Eboné Carrington
Harlem Hospital’s CEO, Eboné Carrington shares how her leadership style evolved and became further defined during the COVID-19 pandemic. Eboné M. Carrington, MPA, FAB, is currently the Chief Executive Officer of NYC Health+Hospitals|Harlem. As the Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Carrington provides leadership to the Hospital’s inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and critical care units. With fiscal and operational responsibility for a workforce of 3,200 and a budget of $443 million.
Ms. Carrington has been chosen by Modern Healthcare magazine as one of the “Up and Comers”, and featured by The Positive Community in May 2016. She was designated by Crain’s New York Business as a 40 under 40 executive. A Member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Ms. Carrington has served on the Columbia University Stroke Center Executive Board and was honored by Mayor Michael Bloomberg for completing the New York City Leadership Institute.
A native of New York City, Ms. Carrington earned her Master of Public Administration from New York University and her Bachelor of Science in Business with honors from Stony Brook University.
