Jessie Banks Foundation 21st Anniversary Scholarship Awards Gala
The Jessie Banks Foundation (JBF) hosted its 21st Anniversary Scholarship Awards Gala at Glenpointe Marriott in Teaneck, NJ.
Ten scholarships were awarded to well-deserved students from the tri-state area entering their first year of college. One first year medical school student and one junior scholar were recognized for their academic achievements.
Six prestigious individuals were honored for their distinguished community and professional service: NFL All-Pro Safety and United Beverage Co. Managing Partner Deron Cherry, Orthodox Christian Studies Center Co-Director George E. Demacopoulos Ph.D., Baker & Baker Management Company President Beverly Baker-Jackson, Esq., Orthodox Christian Studies Center Co-Director Aristotle Papanikolaou, Ph.D., Bergen County Sheriff Anthony Cureton, and Steinberg Sports and Entertainment Chairman & Founder Leigh Steinberg.
