TWW Celebrates Women Making A Difference

For The Whole Woman (TWW), Women’s History Month ended with their Third Annual Women Honoring Women Luncheon & Awards Ceremony (WHW). The hybrid virtual via Zoom and “Live” event, hosted by TWW Founder & CEO Natalie B. McKenzie, took place at the beautiful Ventanas at the Modern in Fort Lee, New Jersey.

WHW celebrates, highlights, elevates and supports women making a difference in their community. This year, three distinguished women were honored: New Jersey State Senate Majority Leader Loretta Weinberg, who has committed her life to public service, with almost thirty years with the New Jersey Legislature; Maria Falzo, the force behind Hip Event, a lifestyle marketing and PR firm and founder of Hip New Jersey; Vivian Scott Chew, founder of TimeZone International and co-founder of Chew Entertainment and the Power2Inspire Foundation. Scott Chew enjoyed the event from the sunny island of Jamaica. A trailblazer, motivator and mentor she serves on the boards of Covenant House and the New Jersey State Council of the Arts.

The 30 plus socially distanced guests and virtual VIPs received beautiful Bloomingdales swag bags, filled with beauty and body products, and TWW sleep and face masks. Chef Phillip Sagan curated the champagne brunch. Ventanas owner Alex Duran, partnered with TWW for the event event. Gospel singer and motivational speaker Tonya Lewis Taylor delivered a powerful keynote speech dropping gems from her new book, Be You Not Her.

Presenting sponsor Obie L. McKenzie, was on hand to support his lovely wife. TWW’s events bring together women of varied ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds. A valued partner is Theresa Johnston, founder of Never Alone Again Resource Center for Victims of Domestic Violence and Abuse. According to McKenzie “This is one that is most rewarding as we are able to see, firsthand, the work they are doing in the Bergen County community.” TWW hosts Living Life Authentically with Natalie B.
