In four years, Women Entrepreneurship has grown from a brainstorming session in a Montclair State cubicle into an international celebration. So far for 2017, we have universities/nonprofits in more than a dozen countries from Australia and Thailand, to Pakistan and Kosovo committed to holding WEW events. In the U.S., universities in 15 states are onboard, from Smith College in the Northeast to University of Iowa and Northwestern in the middle of the country, and from Xavier in the South to University of Oregon in the Northwest. In New Jersey, home of WEW, more than 20 nonprofits will hold events including Princeton, Rutgers, Rowan and Monmouth universities. All of these efforts are a way to shine a light on the importance of women entrepreneurs, while also inspiring and motivating female founders. You can learn more at: WomenEntrepreneurshipWeek.com
